The rooms are getting hotter for longer and people are experiencing more intense heat. Some rooms are getting up to 40C. Additionally, there are rooms with little or no air circulation. Our loft aircon specialists will ensure you do not have to penetrate your flat roof. We will keep the integrity of the roof intact. All the work will be carried out internally. Concealing micro pipes & cables will be hidden behind plasterboard.
Your room will be left just how we found it – clean and tidy. No ugly trunking, no visible pipes or cables. The loft air conditioning can be wall hung, high level or low level, or the unit can be concealed with only a grill visible.

Old-build houses
Victorian and period properties were originally built of solid brick construction, designed and built to retain and hold the heat in. Back in that period, the climate was a lot cooler. Now due to modern day climate change, the summers are getting hotter and for longer, turning your home into an oven in the summer time. Heat is retained within your brick home. The heat also rises within your home to the upper floors and your loft area.
Air conditioning can cool your loft rooms and loft areas to a temperature which is comfortable. It will circulate clean, filtered, conditioned air, giving

Loft rooms
The loft which will be well-insulated for the winter months will also be designed to hold the heat in and preventing any heat loss. Your roof is normally covered with black tiles, slate or roofing felt on a flat or pitched roof. Your roof will get hot from the sun then your roof transfers the heat inwards into your loft. Loft rooms will also have skylights and velux windows to allow good light to come through into these areas. Unfortunately, on summer days these can magnify and radiate solar rays into your loft room.
